“ Very cute traditional Restaurant. It has a more rustic style according to the name "Caravan". We had Beef skewers and liver skewer and some filled dishes like Mantı. With my own Oriental background the food felt a bit like grandma's kitchen The Beef skewers were so super tender. It took me by surprise to find such delicious meat in a low profile restaurant. Must visit even if only for the Beef skewers! Yummy yummy. Thanks for sending my food-heart back home. ”

“ A hidden gem of Bang Tao. We have never tried Uzbek cuisine before so our interest piqued instantly, when we found this restaurant. The vibe was cool, beer garden vibes. The food was delicious, we went a bit overboard because we felt we were spoilt for choice and have never tried this style of food before. The portions were generous throughout and each meal was incredible, rustic but flavoursome. The meats were seasoned and cooked very well and the pastries were soft and delicious. “ I came here with my family. You walk in from the quaint, beautiful street into … what seems like a caravan. There are ribbons and lights hanging from the ceiling, and spin and dance as the music plays, and you hear sounds of tropical birds as you bathe in the balmy summer air. You pass by some ornate rugs and choose a cozy table. The restaurant is not huge, but it’s very cozy and quaint. And it smells amazing. We shared everything. We ordered the delicious tomato salad, uzbek pilaf (aromatic rice with meat), cheburek (pastry filled with beef and onions), grilled chicken skewer, and a meat soup (I’ve forgotten the name, apologies). But! You don’t need to remember the name of anything I just listed, because anything you order will be delicious. I was overwhelmed (in a good way) by all the flavours, the care from the service staff, and the nostalgia (my cheburek and kvass in hand tasted exactly like childhood). I think this is my favourite restaurant in Phuket. Please do not miss this gem in Bang Tao. Where a smorgasbord of cultured gathered around in a beautifully designed shopping destination to share their rich culinary and cultural heritage with the beautiful island of Phuket.
